Switching to accounting outsourcing in September? Here’s your summer prep checklist

Many companies postpone the move to accounting outsourcing until September — it feels natural to start fresh with a new quarter or after the holiday break.
But here’s the catch:
Effective cooperation with an accounting partner doesn’t start when you sign the contract.
It begins with the proper preparation.
Here’s what you can already do this summer to ensure a smooth transition:
Go digital with your documents
Organize your primary documentation — scan everything, sort it, and mark what’s signed or pending. This will speed up onboarding and analysis.
Assign responsible contacts
Who on your team will be responsible for communicating with the accountants? Who’s in charge of sending documents, approving payments, or signing off reports?
Prepare access credentials
List the systems we’ll need access to (banking, CRM, ERP, tax portal, etc.). It’ll save time later.
Set clear expectations
What format works best for reporting? How often? What deadlines matter to you? The more precise you are, the more efficient we are.
Handle any unresolved issues
Close open balances, review unconfirmed acts, or unaccounted expenses. Or pass them on to us — we’ll help sort it out.
👩💻 At Accounting HUB, we always allocate time for onboarding — we study your specifics, analyze your model, and build customized processes. But when clients come prepared, the results are even better.
